The only modification I could do to these things is to recolor them -- in Photoshop.

iff there was a Q2 engine with Statue support... then the choice is easy to make.. Hello Margaal. Have you thought about converting a model from .md2 format into map format? I just got this idea and found that its possible with Blender: www.blender.orgOf course those "Statues" look angeled but its a start...

Try it out Squisher in a little q2 map, compile it,make a screenshot and post it on forum,I am curious to see how it looks and iff it works? .. Well, its quite easy. You have to do nothing but to choose "import", select md2 file and then choose "export" to export it to "Quake3 Map". The resulting map file should open well in QuArK. I attached for you my first test, a Map version of the Duke Playermodel. Worldcraft opens it with some errors. Can you open it in QuArK? Attachments:

This is an in editor shot of the map you linked, imported into marics111 "All Is Silent..." www.maricsrepository.com/pics/thats_big.jpg

You should maybereduce the models poly count before importing it into Quake 2. Blender has an option to do that.

In Radiant, Plugins > BobToolz > Brush Cleanup should remove all micro brushes. spirit, how can i get gtkradiant to work with q2? I installed gtkradiant 1.5 on winxp, but when I load a q2 map it fails to load all textures and models. Although the q2 path seems to be correctly set in q2.game. Is there a guide available or something on how to set it up correctly?

I may be unclear on this but I thought the new themes applied to the current dealio too? Eh? Either way, if I can get this one done before the 1-31-2010 deadline, I'm going to add it to the dog-pile. I won't be mapping for an unknown period of time after the 31st, I go under the knife that day to have something that may possibly be very-very scary from my left arm. Then again, it may turn out to be something simple.
